Visible Technologies Names Eli Weir as Chief Technology Officer
SEATTLE, WA – Visible Technologies, a leading provider of Internet brand and reputation management services, today announced that Eli Weir has joined its executive management team as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
As the CTO of Visible Technologies, Weir will be responsible for meeting the technology infrastructure needs of the company, as well as leading the software development efforts of products such as TruCast™. “We are very excited to have someone with Weir’s experience in rapidly developing next-generation software join the Visible team,” said Adam Selig, CEO of Visible Technologies. “The current opportunities in the market center on consumer-generated content, and the nature of the advanced technologies that Visible is using to solve related business concerns are an unbeatable combination,” said Weir.
Prior to joining Visible Technologies, Weir was the vice president of technology at Virtuoso, a $4 billion invitation-only, luxury-travel consortium based in the US and expanding globally. At Virtuoso, Weir played a key role in solidifying the company’s leadership in the market, ensuring technology alignment with corporate goals and driving innovative solution development.
A major part of his role at Virtuoso was using his experience in agile methodologies and best practices to increase the delivery, quality and scalability of technology solutions.
With more than 12 years experience on the creative edge of the technology industry and an extensive track record of accomplishments in global consulting, Weir has held senior leadership roles, both domestically and internationally, in a variety of growth-oriented technology and media companies.
