Visible Intelligence Product Announcement: Bitly Stats and New Languages!

At Visible®, we love to add new features and functionality that make the social media experience as agile and informative as our customers need it to be. Today, we released updates to the Visible Intelligence® (VI) platform that we think will be very useful:

New Analytics

Addition of bitly click stats and analytics

Now users can register corporate bitly (a URL shortening service) accounts for use in Visible Intelligence for any posts published.  This will help keep track of which links have been shortened and ensure an aggregated view of click stats and analytics.

Another great new feature, called Bitly Quickview, enables users to view the number of clicks on links used in posts in VI that use bitly (and bitly links that show up as t.co in Twitter).  Users can also see clicks over a specific time frame or view more expanded analytics on bitly.com.  Just click on links with a pie symbol after the shortened URL and a window will open on the right sidebar.

Sentiment Analysis Now Available for Four Additional Languages

Konnichi wa!  Our sentiment analysis is now available in a live beta for four new languages: Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Portuguese.  This is an addition to our existing English, Spanish, French, Italian and German sentiment analysis.

Feature/UI Improvement

We pride ourselves on being customer focused and value user input. Feature requests from clients help us to improve the experience for all VI customers.  Our improvements include the following:

  • Ability to select how many rows of search results you would like to view per page
  • Ability to select all/none on filters instead of manually having to click each item
  • Addition of 24 hour option for Topic Discovery analysis by time period
  • Ability to view related posts when clicking on a country in geo map or table

  1. With havin so much written content do you ever run into any issues of
plagorism or copyright violation? My website has
a lot of completely unique content I’ve either authored myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my authorization.
Do you know any ways to help protect against content from being stolen?
    I’d certainly appreciate it.

We haven’t seen this problem for our content, at this point. Good luck in figuring out how to deal with that problem!
