The new year means a fresh start and after the busy holiday season, we don’t blame you for wanting to jump forward. But before you move on to 2013, there is plenty of insight to be derived from the recent past.
With the rush of the holiday season behind us, we take a moment to reflect on what we can learn from it. Find out in our upcoming Webcast on Tuesday, January 15, where expert analyst Susan Etlinger of Altimeter Group will be joining Visible business analyst Cathy Buena to discuss:
- The challenges of utilizing and measuring social vs. traditional media
- Insights on the most discussed products, brands, and campaigns of the 2012 holiday season
- How companies are connecting this data to revenue and assessing their social ROI

Headed to Sunny (Hopefully?) Orlando for IBM’s Lotusphere 2012
Posted by Ryan Graves on January 6, 2012From January 15th – 19th IBM will be hosting Lotusphere 2012 in Orlando, FL and we’ll be there exhibiting and demoing our social media monitoring and analytics platform, Visible Intelligence®, as well as discussing a range of social business topics. The event will consist of over 300 sessions focused on social business best practices and results by internal and external experts of the IBM community.
New to Lotusphere this year is IBM Connect, a two-day parallel event dedicated to the meaning of being social in business to create value and better business outcomes. Obviously we’re particularly thrilled about this addition and we’re excited to be attending some of these sessions as well.
If you’re also attending Lotusphere next week, make sure to stop by and see us in the Solutions Showcase, booth #210!
