The Visible management team combines extensive experience applying technology and services to create client-oriented solutions. The team has specific industry expertise in social media, web applications, text and language processing, SaaS applications, market research, public relations, and business intelligence.
Richard Pasewark, Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer of Visible, Rich provides strategic leadership to bring value to clients and partners. Prior to this role, Rich was President of Cymfony, where he scaled the organization to meet the growing demand for insights delivered from Cymfony’s technology and analyst services. Rich brings over two decades of experience as a business leader, strategist, and software visionary for industry leaders such as Quark, Adobe, and EDS. Rich values the diversity of the Visible client base and the opportunity to create new solutions in the emerging and continually evolving social media analytics market.
Elizabeth Morgan, Senior Vice President of Business Development
Elizabeth joined Visible in 2009 and is responsible for building and managing Visible’s partnership network, extending the reach of social media analytics in the enterprise and agency ecosystem. Prior to joining Visible, Elizabeth served as the Vice President of Client Services at Attenex Corporation (acquired by FTI Consulting), the leading provider of electronic discovery and analytics software for legal service providers and corporations. She currently serves on the board of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Washington Foster School of Business.
Jack Denault, Senior Vice President of Sales and Services
Jack is Visible’s Senior Vice President of Sales and Services. He joins Visible from Accenture where he was the Vice President of Global Alliance Sales. Prior to joining Accenture, Jack was the Senior Vice President of Americas Sales for Dimension Data and the SVP of Sales and Service at Onyx Software, where he successfully led the development of Strategies to transform their go-to-market sales approach. Jack brings a wealth of experience in building and transforming sales organizations, building and developing Alliance/Channels, running Services businesses, and selling business oriented applications such as Contact Centers, CRM, Collaboration solutions and voice applications.
Kelvyn Flavall, Vice President of Engineering and Operations
Kelvyn brings more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry to his role as VP of Engineering and Operations at Visible. Since moving to the US in 1999 from New Zealand, Kelvyn has worked for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young as a Senior Manager in their Advanced Development Center. He also led software development teams at Getty Images where he was responsible for pricing and ordering of digital imagery and videos and he worked for 3 years at Clearwire during their rapid expansion into numerous 4G wireless broadband markets, leading teams responsible for all customer acquisition and self-service account management systems. Most recently, Kelvyn provided independent consulting for a major eCommerce implementation supporting two global sporting apparel companies.
Laurie Cansler, Chief Financial Officer
Laurie, as Chief Financial Officer, is responsible for all of the company’s corporate finance, accounting, legal, and human resource activities. Laurie brings more than 20 years of financial and operational management experience to the company, from a variety of both publicly- and privately- held companies.
Prior to joining Visible, Laurie was CFO at Likewise Software, Inc. where she helped to grow the company and lead its eventual acquisition by EMC. Prior to her tenure at Likewise Software, Laurie was an analyst with Brueggerman and Johnson, a premier Seattle based valuation company. She also spent over 11 years at AT&T Wireless where she was a Director on the Finance team. As Director of Taxation at AT&T Wireless, she focused on M&A transactions and led various operational and planning initiatives. She came to AT&T via their acquisition of McCaw Cellular where she had been a key member of the team during their period of explosive growth. Prior to McCaw Cellular Laurie was a Senior Consultant at Arthur Andersen LLP.
Board Members
Our Board members provide Visible with critically important industry and business experience, support and personal connections to help guide the company to the successful attainment of our vision. Our vision is to “deliver an industry leading Social Intelligence platform, personalized service and support to optimize business outcomes.” As the social media market crosses its inflection point and enterprise adoptions of Social Intelligence become the norm, harnessing the business value of social conversations will be measured at the bottom line.
Joe Grano - Co-Chair of the Board
Mr. Grano is Chairman and CEO of Centurion Holdings LLC, a company that advises private and public companies. From 2001-2004, Mr. Grano was Chairman of UBS Financial Services Inc. (formerly UBS PaineWebber). In addition to being one of the financial service industry’s leading executives, Mr. Grano is involved in a wide range of educational and philanthropic endeavors. In 2002, Mr. Grano was appointed by President George W. Bush to serve as the Chairman of the Homeland Security Advisory Council. He relinquished his position in August 2005.
Prior to joining PaineWebber, Mr. Grano was with Merrill Lynch for 16 years, holding various senior management positions including Director of National Sales. In 1987, he was named the industry’s best retail marketing executive in a survey conducted by Investment Dealers’ Digest. Mr. Grano was Chairman of the Board of Governors of the NASD and a member of the NASD’s Executive Committee.
Before joining Merrill Lynch, Mr. Grano served in the U.S. Special Forces (Green Berets). He became one of the Army’s youngest officers, achieving the rank of Captain.
Mr. Grano holds Honorary Doctor of Laws degrees from Pepperdine University and Babson College as well as Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degrees from Queens College, City University of New York and Central Connecticut State University. In addition he holds an Honorary Doctor of Business Administration degree from the University of New Haven. Mr. Grano served as Vice Chairman of the Queens College Foundation Board of Trustees, and was on the Board of Directors of the YMCA of Greater New York and on the Board of Lenox Hill Hospital. He is a member of the Council for the United States and Italy, a member of the City University of New York’s Business Leadership Council and a former member of the National Board of D.A.R.E.
Janice Anderson, Co-Chair of the Board
Business leader, strategist and entrepreneur, Ms. Anderson provides a strategic third-party viewpoint to the Visible board. Throughout her career she has held executive management positions in communications, web-based solutions and enterprise systems and software at industry leading companies like Muze Inc., Onyx Software, Lucent Technologies and AT&T Corporation. She is currently the Chairman of the Washington Technology Industry Association, Director of Twisted Pair Solutions and Esna Technologies, an adjunct professor of management at Seattle University and an active member of Young Presidents Organization.

Philip R. Dur - Managing Director, Investor Growth Capital
Phil has been involved in venture capital and private equity since 1995 and joined Investor Growth Capital’s technology investment team in 2004. Phil works out of IGC’s Menlo Park office and focuses on investments in software and technology-enabled services businesses. Prior to joining IGC, Phil spent four and a half years with Morgan Stanley Venture Partners where he was responsible for sourcing and executing investments in later stage software and services companies. Phil also spent two years before joining MSVP with Morgan Stanley Capital Partners focusing on investments in software, data communications, and media businesses. Phil earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA from Princeton University.
Phil serves as a director on the boards of ClairMail, Healthline, ID Analytics, InQuira, Novariant, Rocketlawyer, and Venda and as a board observer with ePAC, ForeSee Results, and Mindjet. Phil also worked with IGC’s investments in Siperian (acquired by Informatica), Visiprise (acquired by SAP), and Vallent (acquired by IBM).
Michelle Goldberg - Partner, Ignition Partners
Michelle Goldberg is dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and emerging and future leaders in consumer and digital media software. Michelle cultivates CEOs, entrepreneurs and engineers to foster their talents and help bring their vision to life. She currently sits on 7 for profit and not for profit boards, including Visible Technologies, SEOmoz, TrackSimple and Mpire. In addition to her work as a community mentor and VC, she is an active fundraiser and advisor in education. Prior to joining Ignition, Michelle consulted to Microsoft’s Developer Division, worked as an investment banker in mergers and acquisitions at Olympic Capital Partners, and as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney and the China External Trade Development Council (CETRA) in Taiwan. She was named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Women in Technology by the Puget Sound Business Journal, and was a 2008 “40 under 40? Honoree. Michelle was awarded a Masters degree from Harvard University, and holds an undergraduate degree from Columbia University in the City of New York.
Terry Kent, CEO of Kantar Media
A veteran in the media information and marketing research businesses, Mr. Kent is currently CEO of Kantar Media North America. His career has focused on managing the operational and cultural transformations of dozens of companies including tenures at Dunn and Bradstreet, VNU, and TNS Media. Terry’s achievements include successfully executing merger and acquisitions, and corporate expansion activities at companies ranging from start-ups to complex, international organizations.
David J. Moore - Chairman, Founder and CEO of 24/7 Real Media
David Moore is Chairman, Founder and CEO of 24/7 Real Media, Inc., a leading global digital marketing company that offers award winning ad serving, targeting, tracking, and analytics platforms, along with powerful search marketing capabilities and a global alliance network of Web sites. As Chairman of 24/7 Real Media, Mr. Moore focuses on strengthening the company’s industry position, strategic relationships, recruitment and business development. Mr. Moore also works closely with WPP Digital to support the development and implementation of WPP’s digital initiatives.
Mr. Moore has led 24/7 Real Media’s growth from start-up to its current position as a leader in digital marketing. He is a respected industry veteran with over 30 years experience in new media property development. Throughout his career, he has consistently distinguished himself as a pioneer and leader. When the bubble burst on the dotcom industry, taking his company with it, Mr. Moore was determined that his company would survive. He held true to his vision that if his company survived it would emerge stronger, with a larger market opportunity and fewer competitors. With a series of bold moves, he succeeded.
Mr. Moore is a compelling speaker and seasoned executive with expertise in all facets of the digital advertising industry. He currently serves as Vice Chair for the Interactive Advertising Bureau and has been a member on the board since 2002. Throughout his career, Mr. Moore has held positions at companies such as Turner Broadcasting and Viacom. He co-founded Petry Interactive, which eventually became 24/7 Real Media.
Mr. Moore has served as a director of Local Matters, Inc., a provider of internet, voice and wireless technology solutions, since March 2004 and as Chairman since March 2006. He also serves on the board of Our Stage and Auditudes, both early stage internet companies, is the Chairman of the IAB, and on the board of directors of the Advertising Education Foundation (AEF) since May 2007.
